Entrance to the Digital Hub is via the white door at the East end of the

veranda at the front of the Wangaratta Library – we are not inside the



*After hours access*

Use of the space is possible outside hub opening hours by negotiation. Once

booking is confirmed, the hirer or nominated person needs to liaise with

the coordinator to organize logistics (keys and security) for access at least

one day before the scheduled event.


*Agreed use*

The hirer agrees to use the venue only for the purpose described on the

Booking Form. The hirer will ensure that the function is conducted in a

respectful, inclusive, and lawful manner.



Alterations or additions to the venue must not be made without the

consent of Digital Hub staff.


*Call Out Fee*

A call-out fee of $100.00 will apply for any incident where staff are required

to attend after hours, eg, tripping of security alarm.


*Cancellation or non-attendance*

The full hire fee will be charged if a booking is canceled with less than 7 days'

notice. Non-appearance on the day of the booking will also incur the full

hiring fee.



The Wangaratta Digital Hub is not able to provide catering for functions.

Catering to be organized by hirers. A list of local caterers is available on

request. Tea, coffee, and milk to be provided by the hirer or negotiated with

the coordinator.

A basic kitchenette is available for use by hirers but must be left clean and

tidy to avoid additional cleaning fees.

The kitchenette includes:


Crockery & cutlery

small refrigerator



sandwich toaster



We don’t employ cleaners at the hub so please leave the space clean and

tidy. Please wash all dishes, put all rubbish in the bin and return

tables/chairs to their original positions. A small vacuum cleaner is on-site if

needed. If the room is left in a state that requires extra cleaning, a fee will

be levied in addition to the room hire fees at the rate of $71.00 per hour. 


*AV Equipment*

Please discuss any audiovisual or equipment requirements with the

coordinator before making your booking



The hirer will be responsible for any breakage, defect, damage, theft, or

vandalism to the room or fittings/equipment. Damage must be reported to the

coordinator immediately or at the earliest opportunity.



The hirer agrees to indemnify and keep indemnified the Wangaratta Digital Hub

(via North East Tracks LLEN) against any action, claim, or demand whatsoever

that arises or may arise as a result of the hirer’s function. The hirer indemnifies

the above organizations for the loss or damage of any of the hirer’s equipment,

property or personal belongings.


*Shared Space*

The hub is at times a shared office space so the coordinator and other hot desk

users may be present during normal business hours and until 8 pm on

Wednesday evenings. If you require completely private access to the whole space, please discuss with the coordinator at least 24 hours before your event.

Hub staff and hot desk users will at all times minimize interruptions to your

event if there is any overlap of usage.



The hirer is responsible for compliance with all applicable sections and

regulations of the ‘Occupational Health and Safety Act 2004.’



The Wangaratta Digital Hub has no dedicated parking available but there is 1

hour, 2 hour, and all-day street parking available in close proximity.



All fees and charges are GST inclusive.

An hourly rate applies.



Payment for use of the Wangaratta Digital Hub is preferred at the time of

booking where possible. Invoicing from NE Tracks LLEN is available on request.

Payments can be made via bank deposit


*Regular bookings*

Bookings can be made for an ongoing period of time, up to 12 months in




The hirer’s details will be recorded and kept for administrative purposes.



Smoking is not permitted in the Digital Hub building.



Regular users may negotiate a limited amount of storage. Hot desks include a

lockable drawer. The Digital Hub accepts no responsibility for stored item
